Miss. Kyra Anderson
Miss Anderson is from the Atlanta, GA area and is currently a college senior at Kennesaw State University and is a Psychology major. Kyra will be attending Mercer University's Marriage and Family Therapy Program this fall. Kyra's goal is to pursue her masters degree next fall in marriage and family therapy and also hopes to start a private practice in the future.
Ms. Kyrstal Ferrell, MA
Certified Life Coach/MFT Intern
Ms. Ferrell is a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern studying at Northcentral University's Marriage and Family Therapy Program. Krystal M. Ferrell, began pioneering the path to her career in 2009 after graduating from Tuskegee University. She gained a passion for working with other women to make a difference in society. After graduating with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, she continued her education and pursued a Master of Arts degree in Child Psychology specializing in Adolescents. Believing that education is the highest art of power, she returned to school again to pursue a second graduates’ degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and later received her certification as a certified life coach, and certified facilitator for prepare enrich. Her focus areas with working with clients are self esteem, confidence, infidelity, and couple's therapy.
Ms. Angelia Nalls, MDiv
Angelia Nalls is a Marriage and Family student intern at Northcentral University. She holds a bachelors degree from Duke University and a Masters in Divinity from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology. Angelia Nalls believes in the Marriage and Family therapy tenets of viewing problems as the results of interactions between groups, couples and families, believing common mental health diagnosis are a function of the family and that by treating the family there can be a reduced need for medication. She specializes in intense emotional issues that cause disruptions to daily life functioning. These emotional disturbances can typically be exhibited as addiction, grief and relationship conflict. She Additionally, she has in interest in financial family therapy and how money impacts the individual, couple, and family system.
Mrs. FaLonda Hanif, MA, MFT
FaLonda Hanif is a Masters level Marriage and Family Therapist under the supervision of Dr. Candice Cooper- Lovett. FaLonda received her B.S. degree in Psychology and her B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Florida A & M University. She has a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University. FaLonda understands the stigma in attending therapy. She also understands that it takes courage and strength to reach out for help. FaLonda offers help in a non-bias, safe and supportive environment. Because the mind is unique, FaLonda believes in a collective and holistic way of care that encompasses the “whole” person while seeking to empower and aid her clients on reaching their goals. FaLonda is passionate about helping her clients to recognize their strengths, and positively transform and create a vision of growth. She enjoys using Narrative therapy as a basis for this approach. FaLonda has experience working with a vast group of individuals ranging from children to adults. Her specialty areas include post-partum depression, pregnancy, parenting, peer conflict resolution, pre-marital counseling and team building. She is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and the Georgia Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
