At A New Creation Psychotherapy Services LLC, we focus on the concept of post-traumatic growth which is a positive psychological change experienced as a result of the struggle with challenging life circumstances. This form of psychology focuses on positive growth and strength based therapy, as opposed to the common deficit focus. We also focus on transpersonal psychology which integrates spiritual tools and traditions along with conventional therapy. The idea is that it's not just the mind and body that need healing and looking after, but also the spirit itself. It is concerned with the study of humanity's highest potential, and with the recognition, understanding, and realization of intuitive, spiritual, and transcendent states of consciousness. We highlight the importance of taking care of the mind, body, and spirit which can facilitate transformation for our clients from the inside out. 

 

Some of us have worked with sexual abuse survivors, sex trafficking survivors, domestic violence survivors, youth witnesses to domestic violence and youth who have endured sexual abuse. We have also worked with couples who struggle with connection, trust and communication. Additionally, we work with human sexuality and sexual issues.  Through our compassionate care and support, clients can start the healing process.
