Undergraduate Internship Opportunities
Undergraduate Internship Opportunities
Our undergraduate internship program offers a dynamic, hands-on learning experience for students interested in psychology, marketing, business, or related fields. Interns are integrated into the day-to-day operations of the practice, gaining practical exposure to both the clinical and administrative sides of a mental health organization while developing professional, ethical, and communication skills.
For students pursuing a path in the mental health field, there may also be opportunities to observe therapy sessions when appropriate and with full client consent. This allows interns to gain real-world insight into the therapeutic process, clinical rapport-building, and ethical standards within a professional setting.
Focus areas include:
-
Administrative & Business Operations: Supporting day-to-day practice operations, including client intake processes, documentation organization, and general administrative tasks. Interns may also assist with verifying insurance eligibility, communicating with insurance companies regarding claims, and supporting billing-related follow-up as appropriate.
-
Client Communication & Engagement: Assisting with client contact through the A New Creation (ANC) website, Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, and professional email communication. This includes responding to general inquiries, supporting scheduling coordination, and maintaining professional, timely communication with prospective and current clients.
-
Marketing, Social Media & Brand Support: Assisting with content creation, social media management, and brand development aligned with ANC's voice. This may include drafting posts, supporting campaign ideas, and engaging in audience growth strategies as well as assisting with the ANC newsletter.
-
Community Outreach & Partnership Development: Connecting with local organizations, schools, and community partners to support relationship-building, referral development, and opportunities for workshops, speaking engagements, and collaborative programming.
