Where Clinical Excellence Meets Holistic Transformation
At A New Creation Psychotherapy Services, we are building something intentional.
We are not just a mental health practice, we are a trauma-informed, holistic group practice committed to supporting the full human experience: mind, body, and spirit. Our work is grounded in a transpersonal psychotherapy perspective, recognizing that true healing extends beyond symptom reduction into deeper alignment with one’s authentic self. This is a space for clinicians who understand that healing is not just clinical it is embodied, relational, spiritual, and, at times, deeply intimate in the ways we reconnect to self.
Pathways to Join
We offer opportunities for:
-
Graduate & Undergraduate-Level Interns (Practicum/Internship Placements)
-
Post-Graduate Clinicians (Working toward licensure)
Each pathway is designed to support your development at your current level while maintaining high standards of care.

Our Philosophy of Care
We believe healing is a transformation of consciousness, not just behavior.
Our work centers on:
-
Mind – Clinical insight, emotional regulation, and psychological well-being
-
Body – Somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, and the understanding that the body holds memory and wisdom
-
Spirit – Connection to meaning, purpose, intuition, ancestry, and the deeper essence of self
We also recognize that sexuality and sensuality are essential aspects of human identity and healing not separate from mental health, but deeply intertwined with it.
Our clinicians are invited to approach this work with respect, ethical grounding, and clinical competence, while holding space for:
-
Sexual health and intimacy
-
Sensual embodiment and body connection
-
Identity exploration and liberation
-
Shame reduction and empowerment
-
Trauma-Informed Care
This requires maturity, self-awareness, and a willingness to engage this work with both professionalism and depth.
Our Commitment to Community and Culture
We are deeply devoted to the liberation, empowerment, and wellness of Black individuals and communities across the diaspora.
Our work honors:
-
Indigenous spirituality and ancestral wisdom
-
Global healing traditions
-
The intersection of culture, identity, and mental health
We expect clinicians to approach this work with respect, humility, and a willingness to learn.
Who This May Not Be For
Let’s be clear this is not a passive environment.
This may not be the right fit if you:
-
Prefer strictly traditional models without openness to holistic or integrative approaches
-
Are uncomfortable engaging conversations around sexuality, sensuality, or embodied healing
-
Struggle with accountability, feedback, or self-reflection
-
Are looking for a minimal-effort or purely transactional experience
We are intentional about who joins this space because the work we do requires presence, depth, and responsibility.
